Dalmatian Jasper & Carnelian beads

A 16" inch beaded necklace of Dalmation Jasper, Carnelian and cultured pearls. Dalmatian Jasper is a grounding stone, excellent for bringing tranquillity and providing protection, as well as symbolising positive change and reconnecting.

Carnelian has generally been known as the stone of motivation - excellent for stimulating creativity and promoting courage with its empowering energy.

A cultured pearl bead separates the stones and the piece is finished with a gold-filled clasp.

The beads measure between 3-4mm.

Dalmatian Jasper, also known as Dalmatian stone, is a white to cream coloured form of jasper, caused by the addition of Feldspar within the quartz.  

Carnelian is a variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, identifiable by its translucent orange to red appearance. Carnelian can vary from semi opaque to highly translucent and can also include including specks, banding and striping. The warm reddish orange colour with bands of white and yellow is caused by the presence of Iron Oxide.

Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours and patterns will vary and natural inclusions are visible.

Care

It is not advised to place carnelian or Jasper stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Carnelian can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.

It is advised to avoid exposing stones to prolonged periods of heat and light.
